Lloyd Nilsen

NILSEN, Lloyd Raymond – suddenly on May 1, 2007. Born April 20, 1932 in Kelvington, Saskatchewan. Beloved father, husband, brother and friend. Left to mourn his loss are daughters, Kristin (Daren), Heidi (Troy), sons Mark (Tracey), Erik, Joel (Cassandra), wife Shirley, sisters, Ethel, Aagot, brothers, Reider, Alf and Fred. Grandchildren, Catherine, Matthew, Nicholas and Danielle. Predeased by first wife Joan, sister Borghile and brother Roal all in 1998. Also predeased by parents Olaf and Eva. Lloyd was a Geological Engineer, University of Saskatchewan alumni, graduate of 1955. The mountains were his favorite retreat, breaking rocks looking for opal, and Lloyd, wherever you are, we hope you are staking a claim on the big one! Celebration of Life Monday, May 7, 2007, 1:00 p.m. at Zion United Church, Patterson Ave. and Pleasant Valley, Armstrong, B.C.
