Margaret Taylor Yule "Peggy"
A sad farewell to our dearest Mum, Sister, Gran, GG on October 26th, 2017.
Peggy was born January 6, 1927 to Davy & Annie Meiklejohn in Bridge of Allan, Scotland. One of seven siblings in a loving and rambunctious family who were always up for fun!
Peggy married her life-long soul-mate Ronald Yule and they immigrated to Canada in 1956. Peggy worked for over 20 years in Woodward's shoe department in Vancouver, where they lived for 42 years.
Peggy was predeceased by Ron in 2001, just two months after they moved to Vernon from Vancouver. Peggy loved her family and was always up for badminton, a walk to Kits Beach or a game of scrabble.
Peg is survived by her daughters Linda (Bob), and Karen (Roger); her grandchildren: Kirsten, Justin, Jennifer, Glenn and Kaitlin, who gave her 11 great-grand kids!
The family would like to thank the staff at Vernon Restholm, and Heritage Square for taking care of Mum over the last year.
By her request there will be no service but there will be a gathering of her clan in the spring.
