Born in Calgary, Alta. she was the daughter of the late Ed and Mandella Johnson of Midnapore, Alta. Predeceased in death by 7 brothers and 4 sisters. Marjorie was full of life and had a wonderful sense of humor. She and Art loved to dance and met on a dance floor in Calgary. They resided many years in Montreal and Armstrong, B.C. Unconditional love was shown to her family. In her younger years everyone wanted to be her friend as she was so fun loving and full of life. Marjorie loved gardening and had a passion for fields of wildflowers. A few of her many joys over the years were quilting (of which many family members benefited), hooking rugs, sewing, she was artistic, wrote poems, a fantastic cook and addicted to crossword puzzles. At 91 years of age she was still bright as a button and very involved with her family of all ages. She always wanted to live long enough to see which path in life they would choose and was a real worrier. She will be eternally missed by her family who loved and miss her so dearly. Thanks Mum for all that you were, the legacy that you left us and all of the love that you gave to us. You are irreplaceable. A Memorial Service will be held at St. Saviour’s Anglican Church on Thursday, October 2, 2003 at 1:00 p.m. Interment to follow.
