Martin Wayne Soon
December 31, 1946 - September 22, 2017
Martin Wayne Soon was born on December 31st, 1946 in Vancouver, B.C. and passed away with his family by his side on September 22nd, 2017 in Vernon, B.C. at the age of 70 years.
He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his mother Marion; his wife Sharon; his children Chad (Zoë) and Jana (Niccolo); his grand children Quinn, Mattia, Jasmine, Oliver and Morgan; his sisters Georgina (Gordon) and Carol (Gary); his brother Brian (Laura), along with numerous extended family members and friends.
He was predeceased by his father George in April.
Martin was a devoted family man, dedicated teacher, sports enthusiast, music lover and explorer of the great outdoors.
Living with integrity and generosity, he inspired respect from all who knew him.
In respecting Martin's wishes he was cremated and no funeral service will be held.
His ashes will be scattered along the trails he once travelled.
