Mary passed away peacefully on March 6th, 2017 at Noric House in Vernon at the age of 81. Born in Humboldt, SK on May 22nd, 1935, she spent some time in Windsor, ON prior to moving to Vancouver where she worked as a hairdresser. When the family relocated to Vernon, she worked at various jobs before showing her true talent, operating a baking business with her step son, Ole.
Mary was predeceased by her husband, Theo, and brothers, Andy and Louis. She is survived by her sons: Kim Dolezsar (Lena) and Kevin Pedersen (Debbie Humphreys); her dear friend, Jim Domokos; niece, Jodie Nagy; nephew, Ryan Nagy; grandsons: Reece and Quin Dolezsar and Eric and Zachary Pedersen.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Noric House and Polson Residential Care for the loving care they provided for Mary. A Memorial Tea will be held at Pleasant Valley Funeral Home on Saturday, April 8, 2017 at 10:00 AM.
