Mary settled into her role of wife and mother of 6 before returning to geriatric nursing, retiring from VGH at age 65. Up until she had a stroke 5 years ago, Mary loved to read, listen to music and watch baseball and hockey on television. She had a great ksense of humor and a sharp memory. Mary was a member of the Catholic Women’s League for over 50 years. Mary and Jake loved to travel and had many wonderful trips together, whether it was a visit to family or just exploring on their own.
