Olga died peacefully at the Polson Care Home, 4 days after celebrating her 95th birthday. She was predeceased by her husband George Selent; parents Frank and Maria Funk; brothers Peter (and his wife Ella), Conrad and Gerhardt.
Surviving family members are her brothers; Frank (Peg) and George (Ila), sister Mary (Murray) May, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.
Many thanks goes to Jim Veach for the exceptional care he gave Olga and George over the years.
Interment will be Saturday June 17, 2017 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasant Valley Cemetery followed by a Service of Remembrance at the First Baptist Church, located at 1406 32 Avenue Vernon, BC at 2:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Olga can be made to the Polson Care Centre 2101 32 Street Vernon, BC V1T 3T5.
