PAULINE BETSILL

Pauline Dorothy Betsill

( nee Middlebrook)

We are sad to announce the passing of our beautiful Mom and best friend, Pauline on Thursday, March 13th at the Steinbach Bethesda Hospital. Mom was born November 1 st, 1928 in Toronto, Ontario.

She was pre-deceased by her beloved husband Thomas Lindy on January 20th, 2004. Three months after the Canadian nurse met the American sailor in San Francisco, they married and spent 51 glorious years together. They moved to British Columbia where they raised their 3 children.

Mom has now joined Dad, her Mother Dorothy, Father Roy, Sister Meta and twin brother Joseph. We know that Mom & Dad are finally together again getting caught up on current politics. We are sure Mom is trying to explain to Dad why she voted NDP.

Left to remember all the wonderful memories is their son Tom, Daughters Melanie and Lee Ann (Peter) as well as their Grand daughters, Jennifer, Taylor, Dayna, Emma, Jennifer Lee and loving niece Dorothy and family.

We thank Dr. Reimer for his care and all the staff on 1st floor that made Mom’s stay as comfortable for her as possible.

Mom & Dad’s ashes will be joined together and will be buried in Vernon, BC where they spent their last years together.

If you wish to make a donation, please do so to the Canadian Cancer Foundation.

“Your love was unconditional, we will miss you so very much”
