August 15, 1934 – Oct 4, 2010
Peter’s journey of life ended on Monday, October 4, 2010 after a very brief stay at Hospice House. Peter shared his life with his wife Annette of 48 years; his son Chris (Shelley); his daughter Mandy (Rob); his five grandchildren Connor, Brett, Brittany, Kelly and Debbie and his extended family members from the Webster’s and the Creelman’s.
We as a family would like to thank the many people who have supported us through the last few years: Gateby Day Program, Dr Gavin Smart, Coldstream Meadows, the staff at the Vernon Jubilee Hospital, and the loving care given Peter by his special team at Heritage Square, in particular Pauline, Tess, Tammylee, Dave, Arlett, Sharon and Lucy, who treated him with love and dignity.
On Tuesday, October 5, Peter realized his dream of attending university as he donated his body for Anatomical Studies at the University of British Columbia. At Peter’s request there will not be a formal service. For those wishing to do so donations may be made to the charity of your choice in memory of Peter.
Peter will be missed but never forgotten.
Life is not about how to survive the storm
But how to dance in the rain
