Romeo Eugene Quevillon
In Loving Memory of Romeo Eugene Quevillon who passed away peacefully at the North Okanagan Hospice House in Vernon, British Columbia on November 10, 2017.
Romeo was born in Iroquois Falls, Ontario on July 25, 1931. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 62 years, Therese, in 2015.
Therese and Romeo moved to British Columbia from Northern Ontario in 1980 and settled in Vernon in 1992. Romeo's passion was golf and as long as he was able, he would be off early every day for a round at Hillview Golf Course.
He is lovingly remembered by his three children: Lola (Brian) Svenson, Gil (Bernie) Quevillon, and Roger (Suzanne) Quevillon; his seven grandchildren: Michelle, Curtis, Shannon, Jordan, Cody, Jamie and Jody, many great-grandchildren and extended family.
Romeo came from a large family and is survived by two sisters, Simone and Vivian.
Thanks to the staff at Carrington Place where Romeo spent the last few years for their care and to Hospice for their compassion and caring during the last few days of his life.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. James Roman Catholic Church in Vernon on November 18, 2017 at 1:30 pm.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to North Okanagan Hospice House in Vernon, British Columbia.
