RUBY KLEIN

Ruby Eugenia Klein (nee Walters)

Ruby was born March 12, 1920, in Tees, Alberta and passed away at home with her family by her side on January 3, 2008, after a difficult struggle with cancer which she fought with dignity, courage and a strong faith in God. She was predeceased by her infant son Jimmy in 1943, twin infant grandsons Steven and Jeffrey in 1977, and her husband Bill in 1980.

She is survived by her children: Sharon Beckett (Wayne) of Armstrong, Greg Klein (Wanda) of Kelowna and Sandra Ross (Hugh) of Kelowna, and her sister Edna Wismer of Red Deer, Alberta. She is also survived by her five grandchildren; Patrick, Shannon (Norm), Shea (Tracy), Kellee (Rita) and Mitchell (Cheralyn), and seven great grandchildren; Wesley, Samuel, Jessica (mom Elysia), Emiline, Kyrissa, Devon, and Destiny. Nana was greatly loved and dearly loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and spent her life blessing and praying for them all. She also leaves behind many loving friends and relatives and her beloved canaries.

Mom was a wonderful mother and grandmother and left us with many happy memories. She had a strong faith in Jesus and her beloved Holy Bible was her constant companion. Dearest to her heart is that her entire family would accept Christ as their personal Lord and Savior and live Godly lives for Him so that all will live together in eternity with Jesus.

Jesus said in His word:

“I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies, and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.” John 11:25

“Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming in which all that are in the graves shall hear His voice and come to a resurrection of life.” John 5:28

“Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death is your sting?” 1 Corinthians 15:55

Mom’s signature blessing was “Oceans of love, and a kiss on every wave.” We love you Mom.
