Sarah Doreen Couldwell
November 23, 1930 - September 16, 2017
Doreen was born November 23, 1930 in Lindsay District, Saskatchewan.
She passed away on September 16, 2017 at Vernon Hospice.
She is survived by her daughter Deborah Czerniak (Denis), their children: Cindy Damen (Peter), Mila and Anneka, Carrie Stumpf (Ryan), Reid and Carson; her sons: Glendon Couldwell, Dale Couldwell and his children: Ashley, Terri and Joshua and Joseph's children: Delanie and his son Crosby, Selena Blush (Tim) and their children: Kiana, Nalia, and Auden; as well as four brothers and three sisters.
She is predeceased by her husband Gary in 1999, her son Joseph in 1981, five brothers, two sisters and her twin sister Dorothy.
She was the Secretary/Treasure on board of directors of the 3 Links Lodge; Secretary/Treasure on Board of Directors of the Odd Fellows, Rebecca Lodge; Secretary/Board Member of the Seniors Centre in Armstrong; served on St. James Anglican Women's Auxiliary; as well as Alberta Frost and Doreen helped rebuild the Armstrong/Spallumcheen Loan Cupboard.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Armstrong/Spallumcheen Loan Cupboard.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am on Friday, September 22, 2017 at St. James Anglican Church in Armstrong, BC. Reverend Betty Cuthand will be officiating.
