Born into life January 1, 1967 and into eternity May 2, 2017, in his sleep at home in Kemptville, On. Recovering from major surgery, he died suddenly from an aneurysm.

Since he was a toddler, Sean loved playing with the big toys and his working life spanned from snowmobile and horse work for Gus Abel at Tyax Lake Resort, Gold Bridge to logging, operating trucks and heavy equipment -- most recently for Dave Van Zil Snow Plowing of Kemptville and City of Ottawa Highways; Ron’s Concrete Pumping at Vernon and Wescrete at Calgary.

Survived by his mother, Susan Anderson of Chicago, Gold Bridge and Vernon, BC; his wife of nearly 10 years Valerie Atkins (Kemptville, ON) and beloved friends Jamie and Brodie Crowhurst of Kemptville and furry kid/truck pup Dexter; sister Vicky (Ian), Megan and Haley Stallabrass of Whitehorse; brother Brian (Barbara) and Rachel Anderson of Abbotsford; brother from another mother Mike Pomeroy (Alice) of Kelowna, and numerous Gold Bridge friends including the Illidges, Yanciws, Van Loons, Menhinicks, Franklins and Garrards.

Also surviving are his ex-wife Roberta Anderson Dyson (Mike) of Summerland, step-son Calvin Hiemstra (Jen) and family of Prince George, step-grand-daughter Ericka Anderson of Vernon, and stepson Randy Hiemstra of Delta.

Also survived by step-mother Cheryl, brother Brent (Crystal) Kilboy, all of Fort McMurray; uncle Charlie (Carol) Kilboy of St. Pete, FL; and uncle Ed Kilboy of Bradenton, FL.

Also survived by uncle Bill Brown (Sue) of Chicago; aunt Laima and cousin Ryan Brown of Kamloops; cousin Jen (Brad) and Kaden Stuart of Heffley Creek; aunt Nancy Brown and cousin Tracy O’Brien (Ger) and cousins Tim and Ellen of Chicago and cousin Mark Brown of King’s Beach, CA.

Other survivors: great aunt Mary Storrs of Rio Rancho, NM; cousin Warren Brown of Venice, FL and many Storrs and Fanning cousins in the Chicago area; many Thompson/Nelson/Anderson relatives including aunt Peggy Anderson of Penticton; uncle Ray (Shirl) Anderson of Whitehorse; uncle Gordie Cook of OK Falls and uncle Dick Anderson (Joy) of Surrey. Sean will be sadly missed by many friends, co-workers and neighbours.

Predeceased by his father, John Kilboy (Chicago and Fort McMurray), grandparents Lambert Kilboy (Chicago) and Annabelle Coyne Kilboy (Montreal), uncle Bert Kilboy (Chicago); adoptive father Lorne Anderson, long-time BC Hydro serviceman, of Kinistino, Sask, Gold Bridge and Vernon, BC; great-uncle Warren Brown of Texas.

Also predeceased by grandmother Mabel (Thompson) Anderson; brother MCpl. Glen Anderson (RCAF, Cold Lake, AB); grandparents Bill and Marian Storrs Brown (Chicago; Gold Bridge and Vernon, BC); uncle Rick Brown (Chicago and Kamloops, BC); great uncle Lt. Col John T. Storrs, USAF Ret. (Rio Rancho, NM); furry friends Ericka and Jenna as well as many Thompson/Nelson/Anderson relatives.

Celebration of life to be held Saturday May 13, 1-4 p.m. at Royal Canadian Legion in Lillooet. In lieu of flowers, family and friends may wish to donate to their local Legion branch or to the SPCA. Family graveside service in Vernon Wednesday, May 17. Memorial visitation was held in Kemptville on May 7.
