With heavy hearts we announce the passing of our dearest Shannon after a courageous battle with cancer.
Shannon's life was full of love, family, and travel.
She was an incredible woman. She was strong, thoughtful, generous, kind, and loving. Shannon met and married her greatest love, friend, and soulmate in Todd. They were devoted to each other and married for 40 years. Together they created a beautiful life in Vernon while raising their daughters Brynne (Will) and Jenna.
One of Shannon's greatest joys was being a grandmother to her four grandchildren Dylan, Oslo, Kael, Sydnee, who she cherished. She enjoyed traveling with her husband Todd to Mexico where they laughed together and experienced fun times. She loved spending time with her family so much and will be forever missed.
She was predeceased by her parents Eileen Furbank and Frank Foster.
She leaves behind her sister Rebecca (Jeff) and nephews Jonah and Asa; her sister Colleen; her brother Stephen.
The family would like to thank the manager and staff of Level 7 and the Cancer Center at Vernon Jubilee Hospital for their care.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation towards the VJH Cancer Center.
A celebration of Shannon's life will be held at a later date.
