To the Regional District of North Okanagan: why would you want to change a producing farm by farmer’s who are willing to work the land?
If it is not broke do not try to fix it by giving to private enterprise, even though it might increase Vernon’s tax base.
I urge both levels of government to use common sense and leave 137 acres of producing farm in public ownership. And to you in the BX Ranchland Task Force do not stop farming that land one way or another; keep producing on that 137 acres.
If you do your part, it should stay in public ownership.
But then again if common sense does not prevail, then you can kiss it good bye forever.
