What I can’t find on the Internet is where and who was awarded the contract for manufacturing this non-descript flag? Is this the best Canadians can do? Every Canadian should have been given a chance for the honour of creating something so dear to our hearts. I hope it wasn’t some politicians’ friend or relative or some foreign country.

I am a very proud Canadian and ashamed of the politicians’ efforts at showing off our talents. We have the best manufacturers and all of the best people in the world for what is expected of them and we should never, ever come up short.
