Well, it’s that time of the year again. The apple goblins are already slinking into our orchards with very large plastic bags.
They are not picking the fruit that’s been pruned off but the prime, perfect ones for shipping. You know who you are and as a matter of fact, so do we. The next time you will be reported.
This is the orchardist’s livelihood — one crop a year. Stealing is stealing no matter the item.
If it doesn’t belong to you, it doesn’t belong to you. Don’t take it, as simple as that.
Orchardists should not have to put up fencing to keep people from trespassing. If you don’t own it, stay off of it.
