Devils ice Dynamite
Nancy LaFrenier went 6-for-6 with one home run as Dave’s Mobile Mechanic Devils rolled the Dynamite 31-6 in Vernon Women’s Slo-Pitch League play.
Sheila Marchand and Rickie Leveille each smacked a grand slam to add to the Devil attack, with Robin Lewis and Leanne Wickenheiser also supplying homers.
Shelly Ouellette, Greg Barry, Patti Meger and Linda Castonguay all went 2-for-3 for the Dynamite.
The Ted Luszcz Bulldozing Dozers buzzed the Whitehouse Mortgages Gators 12-3.
Kate Carter went 4-for-4 to lead the Gator bats. Jenn Thatcher (2-for-2, 1 RBI), Kelli Graham (2-for-3, 1 RBI) and Melissa Locke (2-for-3) also had solid games at the plate.
