Byram banks gold

Vernon’s Eric Byram raced to gold in the Senior Boys NorAm/Calforex Cup #1 Biathlon event last weekend in Canmore, Alta.

Byram, a member of Kelowna’s Telemark Nordic Club, finished the 6-kilometre sprint in 17 minutes, 44.6 seconds. He finished ahead of Canmore’s Mitchell Fennell (17:59.40) and Edmonton’s Pearce Hanna (18:29.40).
