Kuhn out of B.C. women's curling championships

Vernon’s Robbi Kuhn missed the playoffs at the Scotties Women’s Curling Provincials in Cloverdale.

Kuhn, who curls with third Karla Thompson, second Michelle Ramsay and lead Christen Wilson, bowed 8-3 to Prince George’s Patti Knezevic in her final round-robin game Friday to finish at 2-7. Knezevic ended preliminary play in a three-way tie for first with Cloverdale’s Marla Mallett and Kelowna’s Kelly Scott at 7-2.

Lumby’s Simone Brosseau, now curling out of Juan de Fuca, went 2-7.
