Kalamalka Fly Fishers are back with the annual Kids Fishing Weekend at Polson Park Pond Saturday April 30 and Sunday May 1, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. The pond will be cleaned and split into three sections and stocked with 900 rainbow trout, courtesy of Freshwater Fisheries Summerland Hatchery. Children 4 to 14 are invited to this free event to try their hand at catching a limit of two trout per day. Rods and reels available for those who don’t have their own. Kalamalka Fly Fishers are back with the annual Kids Fishing Weekend at Polson Park Pond Saturday April 30 and Sunday May 1, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
