A Vernon business has a new owner.
Nor-Val Event Rentals was recently acquired by Avalon Event Rentals of Kelowna.
Brad Buchanan, president of Avalon Event Rentals, and his wife Angela have more than 21 years of experience in the business.
“We have provided equipment, tent and accessory rentals for weddings, parties, festivals, corporate and special events, casino parties and more to customers in the desert wine country of Osoyoos to the houseboat-famous Shuswap region, from the Thompson Valley, to the Kootenays, northern B.C. and Lower Mainland,” said Buchanan.
“While we currently manage all this from Kelowna, by adding a second location in Vernon, we can offer customers both close to home and much, much further afield, better service, more products, more options.”
Jim and Shelli Clipperton, longtime owners of Nor-Val Event Rentals, welcome the sale of the events side of their business.
“Shelli, Kim, Amanda and Sarah will be staying on with Avalon in their new location on Okanagan Landing Road so our customers are assured the same great service to which they have become accustomed,” said Jim.
Avalon Event Rentals opened its new Vernon office and showroom doors Thursday.
