Okanagan College Enactus Club members are about to serve up some pasta and pizza to help with their community endeavours.
Enactus members from the Vernon campus will act as celebrity servers at Vernon’s Boston Pizza Tuesday from 4 to 8 p.m.
Boston Pizza will in turn donate 10 per cent of its sales from the night to the OC Enactus Club.
“We are raising money so that we can continue to fund existing projects, as well as bring more projects to Vernon,” said local Enactus member Shaylan Zecchel, who is completing her business administration degree.
Enactus is a non-profit, student-run organization that develops and implements projects that improve the quality of life across the region.
In Vernon, OC Enactus members have taught Grade 5 and 6 students about financial literacy, entrepreneurship and sustainability.
