A new residential development is moving ahead in Vernon.

Construction has started on phase three of Everton Ridge’s project on Turtle Mountain. It will offer 22 single-family homes of various styles and sizes, including two-storey and custom estate walkout bungalows with hilltop views of Vernon and the valley.

“Everton Ridge Homes has enjoyed an excellent business relationship with Wesbild Holdings of Vancouver, which is the developer of the Turtle Mountain area,” said Jacob Kuiken, president of Everton Ridge Homes of Vernon.

“We have enjoyed a strong partnership with Wesbild in the area over many years and this next phase of residential construction will serve to enhance the reputation of the Vernon community as a go-to residential destination in the North Okanagan. The residential marketplace continues to enjoy robust strength and we continue to speak with many visitors to the area who recognize Vernon as a city of diverse strength and multiple lifestyle advantages”.

The construction of phase three will be completed in October and preliminary home site sales will begin soon.

In addition, Everton Ridge will start construction of its next show home in the coming weeks and completion is slated for the spring.

“With home sites now 95 per cent sold out in phase three, this next phase will come to the market at the right time for winter construction and possessions ready for the summer of 2018,” said Kuiken.
