The Greater Vernon Chamber of Commerce has a new board member.
Mike Petreny, with Baron Insurance, has been appointed as a director.
“I have been impressed with the recent work of the chamber and excited to join the board and participate in advancing the strategic objectives the board has set,” said Petreny.
He has been involved with Junior Chamber International, the Salvation Army and the Canadian Red Cross.
“Mike’s business experience combined with his volunteer work makes him a great fit for the Board and we look forward to his contributions,” said Tracy Cobb-Reeves, chamber president.
