Prospera Credit Union is backing the province’s youth with a $10,000 donation to Junior Achievement of B.C. (JABC) business education programs.
The funds will be directed towards the Economics for Success programs in the Okanagan and the Fraser Valley. This program encourages Grade 9 and 10 students to understand the advantages of remaining in school to acquire the knowledge, attitude and skills needed for long-term career success.
Prospera employees volunteered in the school year to deliver Economics for Success at Vernon Christian School, and at Cst. Neil Bruce, Glenrosa and KLO middle schools in Kelowna.
