A Vernon real estate agent was one of six Canadians to receive the Luminary of Distinction award at the Re/Max of Western Canada awards gala, which was recently held in Las Vegas.

Priscilla Sookarow was given the one-time award based on her career accumulated production and more than 20 years as a sales associate with Re/Max.

Out of 100,000 current Re/Max agents, Sookarow is one of 36 Luminary of Distinction achievers.

“It certainly is an honour, especially being the only realtor not from a major city like Vancouver or Calgary.” she said.

“This award really speaks to our many clients and friends, as they made the trip here fun and memorable.”

Brad Marsh, owner of multiple Re/Max brokerages in B.C., described Sookarow as, “hardworking, dedicated and inspirational.”

“The entire Re/Max Vernon team is incredibly proud of what Priscilla has accomplished,” said Marsh.
