A company with North Okanagan roots has expanded.
Savoy Equipment has acquired Kelowna Chainsaw, making it the company’s third location.
“Savoy Equipment is currently the Okanagan’s top outdoor power equipment dealer with the region’s largest product selection and top small engine mechanics,” said Ally Turner, marketing manager.
“Adding Kelowna Chainsaw’s Leathead location and knowledgeable staff to the Savoy team will provide customers with more convenience, selection, and faster service.”
Savoy Equipment was founded in 1965 in Lumby and the business currently has a presence in Vernon and Kelowna.
“Since new ownership in 2013, the company has made strategic changes to better serve the consumer,” said Turner.
“Most notably, moving to its new Kelowna location, triple the size of the old store, on Windsor Road last spring. Changes have been enthusiastically embraced by customers and employees.”
