North Okanagan residents are invited to learn more about the Agricultural Land Reserve.
Richard Bullock, a former Agricultural Land Commission chairperson, will speak at the Vernon library Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m.
The event is hosted by the Sustainable Environment Network Society and Okanagan Regional Library.
Bullock is a Kelowna farmer who has been active in many industry organizations.
Among them, he has served as president of the B.C. Fruit Growers Association, B.C. Tree Fruits and SunRype Products.
He has also been a director with the Canadian Federation of Agriculture.
