Tickets are now on sale for the 2016 BC SPCA Lottery for animals in need with daily cash prizes throughout the month of June.

Buying a lottery ticket can help B.C.’s most vulnerable animals.

With the return of the BC SPCA Lottery for animals in need, you can win big by helping abused, neglected and injured animals, and potentially, put thousands of extra dollars in your pocket.

Tickets are now on sale for the 2016 BC SPCA Lottery for animals in need, which funds urgently needed medical care, sheltering, spay and neuter services, advocacy, adoption, foster care programs and other services provided for homeless and abused animals in BC SPCA shelters across the province.

“With $100,000 in cash prizes, this is a win-win for animal lovers and for the province’s most vulnerable animals,” said Krista Constantineau, manager of fundraising events, BC SPCA. “You’ll help save the lives of animals in need throughout the province and have the chance to win one of 31 cash prizes. We know money isn’t everything, but it sure can help!”

Tickets are $25 each, three for $60 and five for $90. There are daily cash prizes throughout June, with $5,000 ‘Lucky Mutt Monday’ prizes and $5,000 prizes on ‘TGIF’ Fridays. There’s also an early bird draw on May 9 for $8,000 (the early bird ticket purchase deadline is April 24).

Sponsored by CTV and TV Week, the lottery features another bonus: each winning ticket is re-entered for the daily prizes. To order tickets, call 604-205-5998 or request your tickets online at spca.bc.ca/lottery. Ticket purchasers must be 19 years of age or older and tickets can only be sold in B.C.
