Peter Blundell will be appraising antiques at the Vernon Public Art Gallery for Art & Antique Appraisal Day on Thursday

Have you ever wondered if that old antique you have stored away is worth anything? Or what about that piece of artwork that has been in your family for years and no one really knows much about it? This is your chance to unravel these mysteries.

Join the Vernon Public Art Gallery for Art & Antique Appraisal Day on Thursday, Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. with Peter Blundell of Blundell Art and Antique Appraisals.

Bring your antiques and/or artwork to the gallery and let Blundell reveal information about the artist, age, origin, value and so much more.

Up to three items permitted per 15-minute booking. The cost is $40/members, $50/non-members (+tax) per session, with part proceeds going to the VPAG. Pre-registration is required and space is limited, call 250-545-3173 or email laura@vernonpublicartgallery.com to register.

Pocket watches and swords are permitted but Blundell will not assess jewelry, guns, stamps, coins, or wrist watches.

Spectators are welcome to come see what sorts of items people bring in and learn what Blundell has to say about each item and what the estimated value is. Theatre style seating will be set up for anyone who wishes to watch the appraisals.
