Armstrong chamber board welcomes back top executives

Sandra Starke returns as president while Andrew Laird again serves as vice-president.

There’s a familiar look to the Armstrong Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce’s board of directors.

Sandra Starke (Valley First Financial Services) returns as president while Andrew Laird (Kiss FM) again serves as vice-president.

Directors re-elected to two-year terms include Bruce Brown (Glad Tidings Church) and Cindy Masters (Kindale Developmental Association).

Phil Hughes, a private member, was elected to a  two-year term.

Newly elected one-year term directors include Donna Steeves (Valley First Insurance) and Peter Rotsetter (Chocoliro Finest Chocolates).

Returning one-year term directors are Deb Morrison (RTown Networks), Suzanne Blackwell (Blackwell Building Movers), Barbara Hodder (Monashee Medi Spa), Byron Sayer (Armstrong Spallumcheen Parks and Recreation), Fran Stecyk (VantageOne Credit Union), and Sean Newton (Caravan Farm Theatre).

The board and staff would like to thank Patti Paterson and Sally Richards, who served the board well and wish them the best.

The board-elect was sworn in by Armstrong Mayor Chris Pieper and Spallumcheen Mayor Janice Brown at the chamber’s annual general meeting.
