Auction previews online

Kalamalka Rotary Dream Auction catalogue now available for viewing online prior to event Saturday

Those who managed to get a ticket to the sold out Dream Auction can also get a sneak peek into some of the goods up for grabs.

The complete catalogue for the 27th annual Kalamalka Rotary Dream Auction is available online at, prior to the big event Saturday at the Best Western Vernon Lodge.

“We’ve worked hard this year to provide a complete list of all the auction items so supporters can go online and decide in advance on which particular items they wish to bid,” said Jerry Tellier, auction program chair.

“There are some absolutely fantastic donations,” adds Bob Sattler, auction chair. “Including a weekend for four at the Wickaninnish Inn with private plane travel from Vernon, an HGTV home makeover, a pair of luxury houseboat vacations, gourmet meals, golf holidays, west coast fishing trips, vintage wines, a collection of fine Scotch and a golf weekend for six on Vancouver Island with transportation courtesy of the Kal Tire jet.”

Local businesses, individuals and professionals in the Greater Vernon area have donated the 386 items up for auction – worth a total $230,000.

The items can be viewed online, under  the ‘Download’ section in the lower right hand column.
