“The sale runs from Oct. 19 to 21 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.,” said John Topping,  a volunteer.

“There are paperbacks, hard covers, children’s, westerns, cookbooks, sci-fi, self-help, videos and much more. Come on in and do your Christmas shopping early.”

All proceeds will go towards Vernon Special Olympics.

“The society strives to enrich lives and celebrates personal achievement through positive sporting experiences.”

All books come from the public and merchants.

“Donations are greatly appreciated and may either be dropped off at the Special Olympics book warehouse on any Saturday morning or phone 250-545-1287 for pick-up,” said Topping.
