The Vernon Winter Carnival Society is ready for another year.
The society held its annual general meeting Tuesday and a board was elected for 2016-17.
“We have a fantastic mix of both new and experienced directors who are looking forward to an amazing Carnival in 2017,” said Deb White, president.
The vice-president is Kim Heizmann, while the treasurer is Ruth Hoyte and the secretary is Karla Zielger.
Serving as directors are Annette Timm, Jerry Manley, Mike Smallenberg, Brian Langner, Pat Loehndorf, Dave DeShane, Laurell Cornell and Colleen Heater.
Directors with one year remaining in their two-year term are June Rigby, Karl Schoenberger and Martin Von Holst.
