The Armstrong-Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce will host a bike rodeo Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. on Bridge Street with multiculturalism as its theme.

Calling all kids.

Join in the fun at the Armstrong-Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce’s Multicultural Day Bike Rodeo and Block Party.

The event takes place Monday on Bridge Street between Pleasant Valley Road and Wood Avenue from 5 to 7 p.m.

Bring your bicycle and helmet, then test your skills on the bike course before taking part in other activities.

Presented by the chamber, there will be temporary tattoos, hamburgers, refreshments,  bike decorating, helmet fitting, bike inspection and tune-ups.

Multicultural apparel is encouraged; everyone is encouraged to put a pin on the map where your family came to Canada from.

This free family event is made possible through contributions and participation of the City of Armstrong, Township of Spallumcheen, Interior Health, Saputo, Askews Foods, the RCMP and a grant from the Department of Heritage.
