Chamber retains board members

There are no changes, only new directors, to the Armstrong-Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce board.

There are no changes, only new directors, to the Armstrong-Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce board.

Everybody on the executive was nominated and acclaimed to their positions.

The board includes president Andrew Laird, Kiss FM; vice-president Fran Stecyk, VantageOne Credit Union, and past-president Sandra Starke, Valley First Credit Union. Directors re-elected to two-year terms are: Deb Morrison, Valley First Credit Union; Donna Steeves, Valley First Insurance; Sean Newton, Caravan Farm Theatre; Peter Rotzetter, Chocoliro Finest Chocolate; Barbara Hodder, Monashee Medi-Spa.

Returning directors for one-year terms are: Cindy Masters, Kindale Developmental Association; Phil Hughes, BCCA; Bruce Brown, private member.

The new directors elected for one-year terms include: Lori Shippy, Rossworn Henderson LLP; Bev Carlson, Royal LePage-Downtown Realty; Linet Keir, Sweetwater Springs; Jayme McKillop, Rancho Vignola.

The board and staff thank Suzanne Blackwell and Byron Sayer, who served the board well and wish them the best.
