Hot dogs, hamburgers, beverages, and, of course, the always popular bouncy castle.

All will be on hand as the Coldstream Fire Hall hosts another community day event Sunday, June 11, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m .

Fire department members will be promoting the Firesmart program and showing off the Sprinkler Protection Unit.

“There will be live burns in the burn pan, and the public will be able to have a hands-on experience putting out fires utilizing fire extinguishers,” said the District of Coldstream in a release.

There will be a fire prevention area with activities for kids, including spraying water with a fire hose, along with the barbecue for the hot dogs and burgers.
