February proved to be a sweet month for the Vernon Jubilee Hospital Foundation.
The Subway restaurants in Armstrong, Enderby and Vernon raised $14,590 by donating all cookie sale proceeds for the month to the Building a Tower of Care campaign.
“We are very grateful to Subway for its ongoing commitment to health care in our community,” said Sue Beaudry, VJHF director of development.
“‘Cookies for Care has raised much-needed funds, and generated increased awareness for the campaign to furnish and equip the sixth and seventh floors of the Polson Tower.”
Launched in November, the Building a Tower of Care campaign has raised more than $650,000 of its $2.5 million goal.
