Planning is well underway for the second annual Okanagan Military Tattoo.
Two shows will take place July 25 and 26 at Vernon’s Kal Tire Place.
“The 2014 tattoo was a huge success with more than 4,000 people attending the two shows together with more than 650 performers and volunteers,” said Norm Crerar, society president.
“I am now in discussions with local, regional and international performers and hope to have a program developed and finalized by March. There have been inquiries by groups from eastern and central Canada and the U.S. and I am in discussion with a drum corps from Armenia.”
Tickets for the 2015 tattoo are now on sale at Ticket Seller.
The Okanagan Military Tattoo Society recently held its annual general meeting and Crerar was re-elected as president. Derek Hall is vice-president while Arne Anderson is treasurer and Charli Graham is secretary. Also on the board are Bill More, Warren Burgess, Bob Scott and Marg Bailey.
