The 14th annual Feast of Fields is ready to wow Okanagan residents.
Being held at Niche Wine Co. in West Kelowna on Sept. 15, the evening will feature a variety of experienced culinary artisans serving stories for the tastebuds.
From 1 to 4 p.m., Derrick's Steakhouse, West Coast Seafood and Raw Bar, the Okanagan Table, Bouchons Bistro and others will be behind the food with beverage and cocktail creations being served from Wild Goose Winery, Big Bear Brewery, Lass Chance Cider, Bar Travelling Man, and more.
Feast of Fields is put on by Farm Folk City Folk to celebrate the important connection between farmers and chefs.
"It is an opportunity to learn about where our food comes from and enjoy the in-season flavours," said FFCF engagement manager Julia Zado.
Tickets are available online and include food and drinks. A limited number of VIP tickets are also available which include a curated whisky tasting with Okanagan Spirits, barrel samples with Niche Wine Co. winemaker James Schlosser, a gift bag, VIP seating, and a $75 tax receipt.
Farm Folk City Folk has hosted over 60 feasts at 40 different B.C. farms.
