Dinner boosts United Way

The Taste of Okanagan Terroir Winemakers’ Dinner will be held Sept. 25

United Way is raising its glass for the second annual  winemakers’ dinner in support of local agencies benefitting the community.

Last year, United Way launched the new event, Taste of Okanagan Terroir Winemakers’ Dinner.

“We had all 100 seats sold out in three weeks and the food and wine pairings were amazing,” said Linda Yule, of United Way.

This year, the Winemakers’ Dinner will be held Sept. 25 and there will, once again, be six courses, prepared by Best Western Vernon Lodge executive chef Matthew Tardiff and paired with six wines from Ex Nihilo Vineyards and owner, Jeff Harder.

“We are keeping this to only 130 tickets available, have a select few exclusive auction items this year, and the menu will be stellar,” said Yule.
