The 14th annual Kelowna Scarecrow Festival is ready to bring in the new season.
On Sept. 21, Rutland Lions Park will be filled with live music and vendors, and a field of scarecrows.
Festival goers will have the chance to make their own scarecrow and compete for prizes.
The Scarecrow Festival was previously run by Impact Events, but has been handed over to Creative Okanagan.
"We are excited to carry on the legacy of the Scarecrow Festival," said Karma Lacoff Nieoczym, executive and creative director. "We look forward to building on the strong foundation laid by Impact Events and the Uptown Rutland Business Association, building on the musical entertainment presented, creating memorable experiences for the community."
Festivities run from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
