Family seeks return of unmistakable cat ‘Lou’

The disappearance of an unforgettable, furry face from a Bella Vista home has left a hole in the hearts of his family

The disappearance of an unforgettable, furry face from a Bella Vista home has left a hole in the hearts of his family.

Loungo, a five-year-old male exotic short-haired silver tabby, slipped out of his home May 23 from the Sunnyview/Orchard Hill road area.

“Lou is a very special and treasured family member deeply missed by all,” said Elizabeth Coss.

His looks are unmistakable, with large round copper eyes, a flat face and upside down mouth.

“It is possible someone has found him and fallen in love at first sight such as we had when we first met Lou.”

The friendly feline responds to his name when called, does tricks and according to the Coss’ he is emotionally attached to his family.

“Our hearts are broken.”

The family is asking residents in the area to check their garages, sheds, boat covers and such as Lou may be frightened and hiding due to his inexperience with the outdoors. They are also willing to pay a reward for his return.

Anyone who has seen Lou or knows of his whereabouts is asked to call 250-275-4870 or 250-307-3164.
