Five lucky contestants have earned a chance at driving away the winner of Bannister Honda’s Sick Civic Saturday.

The finalists are: Christie Allen, Ryan Baumbach, Wyatt Miller-Unser, Carter Schindel and Melissa Webster.

Each of these contestants will try their luck at picking the winning key to the $25,000 tricked-out Civic Coupe at 2 p.m. in Polson Park Saturday, during Vernon Winter Carnival’s Family Day.

“I have five keys and one of them starts the vehicle,” said Pat Loehndorf, Bannister Honda’s general manager.

A skill testing question will determine who gets the first pick of the keys, which will be held by five of the giveaway sponsors – The Morning Star, Sun FM, Peters Tirecraft, AutoSound Plus and The Bulldog Hotel.

“There’s a little piece of all of us in this prize,” said Loehndorf, thanking each of the sponsors.

While one winning key holder will drive away with the Sick Civic, the remaining finalists won’t walk away empty handed.

“The remaining people will get a consolation prize,” said Loehndorf, of a dinner for two prize.

Those wanting to check out the Civic can do so today at The Morning Star (4407-25th Avenue).
