The North Okanagan Youth Soccer Association received $61,000 while the B.C. Freestyle Ski Association was awarded $26,000. There is also $19,200 for the Vernon Baseball Association.

“Helping young people pursue their athletic dreams is part of our government’s philosophy of encouraging life-long physical fitness,” said Eric Foster, Vernon-Monashee MLA. “These grants help these organizations deliver better programs and ensure more Vernon-area youths are introduced to soccer, baseball and skiing.”
