The Regional District of North Okanagan will hold its final Xerindipity Garden workshop.
Today from 7 to 8 p.m., join RDNO staff and agrologist Ruth McDougall for a free workshop about local soil.
This one-hour workshop will explore the basics of soil structure and type, and how soil fertility determines plant viability.
“While soil does not often get the attention it deserves, most gardeners understand the importance of starting with a good foundation for the enhanced health of their plants,” said Karmen Morgan, waste reduction co-ordinator.
The Xerindipity Demonstration Garden is next to the Okanagan Science Centre in Polson Park.
