Four North Okanagan groups will share $56,500 in the latest round of provincial gaming grants.
Funds will go to O’Keefe Ranch, Powerhouse Theatre, the Endurance Riders Association and the North Okanagan Minor Lacrosse Association.
“Gaming grants are a huge help for community organizations here in Vernon,” said Eric Foster, Vernon-Monashee MLA.
O’Keefe Ranch will receive $8,500 while $22,000 will go to Powerhouse Theatre, $6,400 to the Endurance Riders Association and $19,600 to the North Okanagan Minor Lacrosse Association.
“The programs and services they provide make people healthier and happier,” said Foster.
Across B.C., 146 groups will share $3,161,195 in this latest round of grants from provincial gaming revenue.
