Local woman are urged to come hit the links in support of hospice.

The Home Building Centre Ladies Only Golf Tourney gets underway June 7 at Spallumcheen Golf and Country Club.

“Spring is in the air and that means it’s time to dust off your golf clubs and hit some balls,” said Daphne Coleman, event organizer. “What better way to get some fresh air than to sign up for the seventh annual Home Building Centre Ladies Only Golf Tournament in support of the North Okanagan Hospice Society.”

Over the past six years, the event has raised more than $155,000 thanks to the support of local business owners and golfers.

Pre-registration is between 11 a.m. and 12:30 p.m., shotgun start is at 1 p.m. But space is limited so early registration is encouraged. Teams of five ladies can be booked or individuals can be joined to form a team.

The event also features a live and silent auction, all in support of hospice.
