Dana and Lawrence Brown are throwing open their garage to Hospice House.
The couple will hold a multi-family garage sale Oct. 1, with all proceeds going to the North Okanagan Hospice Society.
“I have quite an attachment to Hospice House and a friend died there this spring,” said Dana, who volunteered with the society for many years.
“We want to do everything we can to help.”
The garage sale will feature a variety of items, for the household as well as antiques.
“There will be a lot of nice Christmas decor,” said Dana.
“Our house used to be part of the Hospice House Christmas tour.”
Tim Hortons is providing coffee and Tim Bits for a donation.
Any items left over will be donated to the Allan Brooks Nature Centre for its spring and fall garage sales.
The Oct. 1 garage sale for Hospice House runs from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 683 Commonage Rd.
